Emulsion Plant

Emulsion is the uniform dispersion of two liquids in the form of small particles in the micron order, although they do not dissolve in each other. The emulsifier prevents asphalt cement particles from settling by binding to each other in water. Because the emulsion obtained by dispersing the asphalt in water is separated after a short time as the asphalt particles start to bond again. The emulsifier forms a film between the asphalt globules and prevents their recombination. Emulsions that come into contact with the aggregate are cut, bonded to the aggregate, and the released water evaporates.

Asphalt Emulsions are bituminous binders that are formed by dispersing bitumen particles in water with the help of an emulsifier. Asphalt emulsions, which have a wide application area such as surface coating, bonding layer, primer, etc., do not have flash points, are not flammable and explosive.
